Private Session Training Partners
HRA’s Training and Behavior Center is supported by professional trainers who offer training services through their own businesses in addition to the work they do at HRA. If you are in need of private training and behavior services, we proudly recommend the following trainers:
Liana Burgoyne, CPDT-KA, CCFT, CCFC, NASM-CPT

LianaFit™️Canine Conditioning uses positive reinforcement to shape confidence, health, and harmony between dog and handler. Forge a stronger bond and a happier life together with your dog through effective and fun behavioral training and canine fitness services!
Training should be effective, solution-oriented, and enriching. We spend time getting to know our clients and their pets so we can provide science-based guidance that is customized specifically to you and your dog.
Whether you just got a new puppy, are experiencing a behavioral problem with your dog, or want to improve your pet's quality of life, we'll go beyond single-issue fixes and teach you how to start thinking like a dog trainer!
The foundation of effective training is trust. Our head trainer was voted number one best dog trainer in DC, and is certified as a CPDT-KA, CCFC, and NASM-CPT. She is also an AKC CGC® Approved Evaluator, and a certified canine fitness trainer (CCFT). All of our trainers are either certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers or the Karen Pryor Academy. We practice only force-free training built on positive reinforcement. Work with us on obedience training, basic commands, potty training, distraction training, Canine Good Citizen training, canine fitness for sports dogs and pet dogs, and more!
